Our viticulture – that’s a fancy way of saying vineyard – clients are periodically on the lookout for energetic, hard-working, and personable staff to join them in harvesting their grapevines throughout the harvest season. Lasting 1-3 weeks, these roles offer a great chance to be part of a vibrant community, engage with nature, and contribute to the success of local vineyards… As well as being very competitively paid of course.

What you can expect…
Our vineyard partners are mainly based in East Sussex, West Sussex, and Kent, and look for harvesting staff at various times throughout the year. As well as providing you with a sociable, fun, and scenic working experience, the roles may also provide a range of benefits including exclusive vineyard tours, celebratory lunches, discounted wine, branded caps, and tasting experiences*.
There are 2 roles you can usually register for:
- Grape Picker – This unique role involves walking down the vines, snipping off bunches of grapes, and placing them into buckets. It’s definitely an engaging role, that offers great fun and a chance to meet new people from the local community. A Waterproof jacket and sturdy boots are essential.
- Bucket Runner – This energetic role involves emptying grape pickers’ buckets and supplying them with empty ones. It’s a great opportunity to be part of a busy team supporting the harvest season, all whilst getting your daily steps in.
Both roles require no previous experience, however, you must be able to drive – as the locations are quite remote – and also be physically fit. Due to the nature of the work, we require 100% attendance as there’s only a small window to pick before the frost damages the crops.
