Paid Digital Marketing – OTE up to £50k year 1 – New Role
This is a new role in an innovate paid digital marketing agency that’s going places. They have an increasing global spread of B2B clients, many in North America, who get great value by making sure that their paid Amazon advertising is in the right place, at the right time, pointing to the right audience – it’s a niche with a lot of scope. This new role is to cement new accounts, understand what they need and build them. This agency was 6 strong a year ago, but they’re now 20 and still growing, fuelled by the move to online sales in the last year or so. They are an incredible team, in need of more incredible people.

New accounts are arriving in a consistent stream, and the agency needs to make them feel welcome, keep track of their needs, and help them increase their online sales – that’s where you come in. Your research, questioning and analytical skills will help understand client key messages and audiences, and identify what works to drive profitable outcomes. You’ll optimise the account and look for new opportunities. You’ll also be making recommendations, giving advice and providing evidence that Amazon is the way ahead
You’ll be talking with a real mix of clients in terms of their sectors and scale. Your communication needs to be crystal clear so they know what’s going on and how you can help them. All clients turnover more than £1m per annum , and you can be talking to a Digital Marketing Manager in Los Angeles one moment, and a business owner in Coventry the next. Their Croydon office offers you a window on the world.
This is a team effort. Everybody needs everybody else. There are no prima donnas. Just incredible people pulling together.
You are at the top of your game when it comes to Amazon. Google isn’t part of the game, so you’ll need something like 2 years or more experience with Amazon paid ads, or perhaps running an Amazon Store. You know your way round. You understand how it works – And you can explain to somebody who doesn’t, exactly why Amazon is the place to be.
You’re also familiar with consultative sales and good with unscripted conversations. Your strengths lie in asking great open questions and the discipline of outstanding follow-up and leaving no stone unturned. You’re curious and inquisitive by nature, and know this isn’t about one-hit wonders, but about consistent and reliable results that give the client reasons to come back for more.

The offices are in Croydon. It’s a 40-hour week, but the working day can flex depending where in the world you’re calling. You may like the sound of this job and the company, but Croydon is too far. Talk to us. If you’re incredible, there’s always a way to make this work.
Starting annual basic salary will be in the region of £35k, and that will increase as you build your portfolio. On top there’s a commission scheme that should take your earnings to £50k in year one, and between £70k and £100k in year two as your confidence, skills and client relationships grow.
Martin Ellis at Recruitment South East will perform screening and initial interviews before candidates are selected for interview by the company. They’ll be 2 interviews, firstly with the Operations Manager, then the main Director as well as completing a short online psychometric assessment.
