Business Development Executive – J1927ME

Office-based – Landscaping Materials

Established for over 25 years, this is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of landscaping and construction materials to the public and private sectors. They’re in continual growth and looking to build their office-based sales team. What makes them different is the wide range of stock and control of transport – so their client gets what they want exactly when they need it.

The Role:

To build excellent relationships with new and existing customers, using your telephone sales skills to generate new business, encourage new leads and sell across the range. You will be making calls to decision-makers across the UK, to understand their needs and gain their trust for the long term.

Reporting to the Business Development Manager, you’ll

  • Start new accounts
  • Develop existing accounts
  • Look for new opportunities with existing customers
  • Refresh dormant accounts
  • Work as part of a team that shares intelligence and best practice
  • Sometimes you will need to visit potential customers to thoroughly understand their needs and start the relationship off on the right foot
  • You’ll also attend trade shows from time to time

Location and Hours:

The modern office is rurally located in central/Eastern East Sussex, with limited public transport, so you will need your own transport. Hours are 8:30-17:00, Monday to Friday.
